Acrylic blocks are great tools to have, especially if you are just starting out with paper crafting. They are affordable and versatile.
How acrylic blocks work:
- Choose whichever photopolymer stamps or red rubber cling stamps that you like and apply it to the acrylic block.
- Ink up the stamp.
- Flip the block over and line up your stamp to where you would like the image to go on your paper. Acrylic blocks are transparent which makes this step much easier.
- Press down, making sure to give the center of the stamp a good push. Try not to rock the stamp (although sometimes you can rock the stamp for a certain look, more on this later).
It’s that easy! Stamping with acrylic blocks is one of the many simple ways to make beautiful cards.
Ideas:
- Use stamps to make cards for family and friends.
- Make your own patterned paper.
